New Moon Magazine Promotes Content by Girls for Girls!

New Moon Girl Media brings user-generated content to girls ages 8 to 15 through its publications and Internet experiences. All New Moon content is for girls, by girls, and about girls and their interests. The publication is recognized for evoking, inspiring, and presenting girls’ voices to each other and to the world.

New Moon depends entirely on girls to identify and research issues of importance to them, develop interesting content, and learn how to use their voices in meaningful and constructive ways as they engage in social dialog.

New Moon publications and experiences remain free of advertising and external media influences in order to avoid “perfect girl” stereotyping, and to remain accountable only to girls and their needs.

Through its various affiliate relationships, New Moon is a resource on a variety of girls and women’s issues. In addition, New Moon Girl Media provides many curriculum opportunities and workshops for teachers and others who work with girls.
